Some of the modalities we use are...

SkinPen by Bellus Medical is the first FDA-cleared microneedling device. The SkinPen micro-needling procedure is a skin rejuvenation procedure that is particularly effective for rejuvenating aging skin, and minimizing acne scars. As new healthy collagen is formed you will see smoother, brighter and tighter skin. SkinPen works well for fine lines and wrinkles, acne, surgical scars, sun damage, pore size, skin laxity, lip lines and crepey under eye skin. The micro-needles puncture the skin, including the stratum corneum, which is the hydrophobic and outermost layer of the skin, creating micro-channels. It causes controlled micro-injuries that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact. Microneedling is minimally invasive, requiring no downtime. It's considered safe for most people who are in overall good health. The procedure isn't safe for people who use certain acne medications or for women who are pregnant. You'll experience minor redness and irritation for a few days after the procedure.

One new approach, the plasma-rich protein (PRP) facial, combines plasma and platelets from your blood with other rejuvenation techniques. Collagen is the 'latticework of the face,' so a PRP facial helps tighten, smooth and improve skin tone. The PRP facial and microneedling work together to achieve this. PRP is a high concentration of platelets surrounded in its own plasma.  A small amount of blood is drawn and the red cells are isolated from the PRP and injected into the face.

Researchers are now able to regrow hair in balding patients with a series of injections with Platelet Rich Plasma therapy (PRP). In the case of hair loss, the injected platelets prompt inactive or newly implanted hair follicles to enter an active growth phase, causing the hair to start growing again. Since PRP is processed from the patient's own blood, there is virtually no risk of an allergic reaction or rejection.

Microdermabrasion uses tiny exfoliating crystals that are sprayed on the skin to gently remove the outer layer of your skin. It works best on problems such as dull skin, brown spots, and age spots leaving the skin looking softer and brighter.

Sclerotherapy is the treatment of choice for eliminating varicose veins and superficial telangiectasis (spider veins) in which a solution (sclerosing agent) is injected into the veins.
